Media portal won't play any videos

just bought s new duo 2 can't get any videos to play with the media portal the box just stays on the channel I was looking at and no button on the remote works any ideas
 
Have the same issue with VU+ Solo Se . BH version 2.1.7.
Tried with Mediaportal 7.1.4 and then with 7.1.3. No change
