Mounting VU+ to a win7 or home server pc

Is there anyone here that susessfully have mounted a vu+ to a home server or a win7 machine. I have a home server that contains all of my movies, but I can not get the vu+ to stream my movies. Is it any good plugins that allow me to find my movies on my home server and watch them on my Vu+.
I hope some of you got some answers to me, and I thank you all for any answers.

I use vlc plugin to stream my movies from my pc to the vu+ box

Yes you can mount the vu and windows 7, make sure you use a loginname and password on you`re pc and then you can use a cifs-mount on the vu.
