Movie browser - cover art - metadata

Some movies I have added to my HDD for the Movie Browser plugin to access, the plugin hasn't retrieved cover art and metadata for some titles and I'm not sure how to overcome this problem? I have tried adding my own .JPG file but it hasn't worked,
any ideas people??
