MPEG / DolbyDigi audio selection does not stick

When a channel have two audio selections like MPEG and Dolby Digital and I select to use DD
the next time a I arrive to the channel it is on MPEG. Anyone knows how to make DD the deafualt mode or how to lock the selection in the channel?
