Mytube player - no download function?

Hi,
I'm a very new user of the Blackhole images and I like it very much. In my box, the BlackHole Vu+ Duo v. 1.4.5 image is installed and before I used the 1.4.3.

My problem is that I miss the download function within the mytube player. I already tried the downloads-pluging, which should enable the download functionalities for different video plugins, but it didn't work. Am I doing something wrong? Could you please help, because I really want to stay on the Blackhole image. Before I was using the VTI images where I could download the youtube-videos directly to my harddisk.

That's the point, when I select the video and press enter, I don't have the menu entry which allows me to download the video.

1.Start plugin MyTube
2.wait ,press red button
3.select >> No,but switch to video entries
4.Select video you like to record
5.Menu button
6.Select Download Video

Oh sorry for my typo in the last post. I meant, when I select the video and press "menu" (not "enter"), I don't have the menu entry which allows me to download the video.

Thank you Matrix10 for the detailed explanation, of course this is the way I did it before, but it does not work any more with the Blackhole image.
Is it possible that the reason for this lies in some special enigma2-settings? Tonight I will try to reinstall the Blackhole image once more without any backuped settings, may be this will fix the problem ???
 
I dont know what you changed in your image
I've tested with the original image
and with Black Shadow 3 skin
but i think is the same with default and all other
skins.

Now I have flashed the Blackhole 1.4.5 image again without any settings and I also installed the Black Shadow 3. No other changes were made. It still doesn't work with default and the Black Shadow 3 skin.
I have only 3 entries in the menu when I try to download: 1) MyTube Settings, 2) View related videos, 3) View response videos

The download functionality works well with the original images as well as with the VTI images, but not with the Blackhole images (1.4.3, 1.4.5) ???
 
Very strange
If you can record TV programs on the HDD then it should work with MyTube.

Please check MyTube settings

Start MyTube>> Menu> Settings MyTube>> Download location /hdd /movie
Otherwise I do not know what 's your problem.

Yes that's right. It is very strange. Recording TV programs works well.
There is no "Download location" entry within the settings ????

Today I tested the same image with the same settings in the VU+ Duo of a friend and there the download functionalies are working fine.
So, it seems to be a problem with my receiver (also VU+ Duo). I posted the problem in other forums to0, but so far there is no solution to this problem. However, there are some other people complaining about the same confusing problem. Today I also tested a VTI image, and all things have been working fine with the MyTube player.
Very, very strange, but I will keep on searching for the reason because I like the Blackhole image, so I'm thanking for all of your suggestions. ;-))
As soon as I know something new about it, I will post it here.
