Request Need help setting up internal hdd on UNO with openpli

I just installed a WD 750 GB hdd and would like to get it up and running so I can record to it.
Is there a thread here that can help me out, or can someone please help me?
First of all -I have a VU+ UNO with openPLI image ver. 3.0
The disk is installed -in openpli it auto mounts after restart.
Nothing happened after I initialized the disk I don't think it worked -no message that it has completed.
Can the hdd be initialized with telnet?
If it can, what's the proper command to initialize it with?
There is nothing in the VU manual about any of this.

Ok 2 things:

1) this is the BlackHole board, which means there will not be too many members that use the OpenPLi image on this board.

Thats not to say nobody will help you, just that there will not be as many here as you would find on OpenPLi's own board.

2) Do not start multiple threads for the same topic.
