need help to open/forward ports for vu+ solo2 streaming

Hi all

I need help again to setup my router so I can stream from my vu+ solo2 to my PC, it used to be setup perfectly fine but my router had a software upgrade and wiped everything so I now need to open/forward the ports again.
iv tried but don't think I'm doing it correctly, iv tried opening/forward ports 8002, 8001 and 80 but nothing seems ot change.

can anybody help, maybe I'm setting up the new service wrong or the UDP or TCP

If your PC and the box are in the same network, you don't need to open ports on router.

If you need streaming capabilites, 80, 8001 and/or 8002 TCPs ports must be opened and port-forwarded to your box.

yes my PC and box are on the same network, I put the ip of the box into the browser which it loads openwebif fine, I click the TV icon next to the channel iwant and it loads VLC player, but nothing after that no stream starts, that happens on all channels

Are you using firefox? If not ... try it!

no iv been using Microsoft edge the new browser, internet explorer and chrome none worked but just opened the ports and now it works

problem is everytime the stream loads VLC it asks for my box username and password again - is their anyway to save this to stop it asking me as I already have entered this when I enter the openwebif?
 
hi yes for a short while the channels worked but they wont now, it seems like its my paid channels that don't want to work. some if not most of the FTA channels seem to work

iv tired Microsoft edge, internet explorer, google chrome and firefox but all still the same
