need help with image and CFE

I have a blackhole image i want to use but it is saying this, Warning: Duo2 requires a Cfe upgrade to V2 before you flash this image.

now i have the file, i put it on my flash drive but the update screen doesnt appear, ive tried putting the image on without this but the same happens with the blackhole image, nothing. The flash drive works as i used to use it to update my technomate. I have a duo2 btw. can anyone help?
