Hi,
I've got a solo2 running the latest version of Blackhole. I've been trying to connect to my NAS drive to play the media from that but I've been having some issues.
I can see the NAS in the Net neighbourhood area and I've set up a username and password for it in the user management area of mounts management.
When I click on the NAS in the Net neighbourhood area it fails to open. The username and password that I've used works to open all drives on my laptop.
Is there something I'm missing or can anyone suggest anything else I could try?

On your NAS have you setted up the correct user and password?
I suggest, if supported by NAS, to use NFS shares without user authentication but using the network authentication (allow access only from your local network).

Thanks for the reply - I think I was trying to do something along those lines while setting up the NAS but couldn't get it to do that. I'll have another look.

Hi - I did try to follow the advice above and found that I had a guest account on my NAS that doesn't require a password but enabling it didn't seem to make any difference on the solo2. I was able to access the drive without entering a password on my pc.

While exploring the different menu's on the solo2 I did find I could access my movies by accident by enabling the UPnP Client Djmount. This was using the BH 1.7.9 image - I was able to access the files on the NAS by going to the DLNA option in the media player and this listed my NAS as an option - for some reason this allows me to see the default folders on the NAS but not any that I created myself even though they all have the same permission settings. The video files were working great in the media player in this setup.

I've since updated to the latest image - I can still access the files on the NAS using the above method but none of the video files will work, I can access photos on the NAS using the picture viewer - I did try copying one of the video files on to a USB stick and then try playing it from there but it still won't work.

Is there an issue with playing media files with the latest image or am I doing something silly?
