Vu+ Newbie
Hello,

i already try several times to scan my devices on my network trough my
Vu+ultimo, i saved a mountpoint ( my NAS , readynaspro 6 ).
i notices that many times i have to refresh my network to see the share device
in my multimedia player, i don't understand that, when i try to scan again i have a message
telling my that the same mountpoint exist , but the strange thing is that i can't see it among
my share device and folders.

if some of you already encountered the same kind of problems, some help would be helpfull,
thank you

I have no NAS but network drive
I believe it is more a problem of your NAS configuration or NAS firmware
I do not have any problems with the My Book Live Network Storage.
See the forums for your NAS maybe they have some info
or maybe someone on our forum has some info.

I think that your NAS does not connect on time
and is in the OFF state .

when i try to scan again i have a message
telling my that the same mountpoint exist

mountpoint exist but is not alive .

Hello,

I have used Vu+ boxes ( Duo, Uno, Ultimo ) from versions of BH before 1.66 up to now 1.75 with a Ready Nas NV+.
I have two shares mounted in CIF mode on the vu box.
I store recordings and other media (photos, video, music) files on nas and I can play them without any problems on vu+.
It should work for you.
Ckeck / test network cable.
Check your user/pwd and security mode on nas.
Check also if you have spin down option enable on nas. Not sure but spin up delay may cause network problem (it shoud not normally).
