Hello , iwounder if there is anyone that knows where in sweden i can buy a new fan for my vuduo.
no one at vu+ answer my email and that sucks . useless support

I think you can buy a not specific fan for your Duo by any computer shop.
You should check only the fan size.

Just check the connector if you don't want to play with tools.
Also get one with similar power rating (mA).
If you take a lower one you may not get enough cooling, too high will be noisy.

tried that with fractal design 50mm silent series and disconnected yellow cabel , the box doesnt start the fan

Did you try to set the fan to always ON in setup menu?

I am not sure if the duo uses a 5v or a 12 v fan. Check this also.

12v the original fan is a nidec 12v ta200 dc but i cant find it in sweden

Ok it is 12v.
What is the rated current of your replacement fan?
If it is too high the duo may not be able to supply enough power. It should be around 0.06 A
Test you fan on another 12v source to verify that it works.
If you have a volt meter, try to see if you have about 12v at the fan connector on the duo main board with "FAN ON" setting.
If you do not then you may have a hardware problem.

0.07 is the nidec fan i found that the fan i bought is 1,12 its to high .
going to try find the original . have a other fan right now but its only until i find the right fan .

You don't have to find exactly the same. Look for one between 0.06 A and 0.08 A, it will work fine.
