new satellite scan after upgrade?

I have a vusolo running an old 2.0.3.

thinking to flash upgrade to the latest.

Once upgraded do I need to setup the tuner and do a first automatic satellite scan or I can go directly with an upload of the "old settings" using application like idreamx and choosing to put in the box bouquet+channels?

I mean what is the best and faster practice in these cases?

There are 2 ways

1. personal backup.It takes your all the plugins ian bouquets. & restore after installing new version of BH

2.

The best is to take backup with dreamedit to the PC.It saves your bouquet.
You can restore it .All you need to setup tuner if you are having multi sat setup.

Other plugins you can install manually
