Hi folks,

Seem to be having difficulty installing this image. I have the v4.5 firmware, and have followed all the instructions to put the image on my USB pen drive. It is formatted correctly with the right folders.

When I power up with the USB stick in place and press the CH- button nothing much happens.

What should I see? I have just a Vu+ screen with the word loading.... in the bottom right corner. But no obvious progress is happening.

I should add there are no other USB devices connected.

The usb have to be fat32 formatted
You have to unzip the image file in usb in the way that the usb have to contain folder "vuplus"
the usb have to be connected in the front panel and not in rear.
no other usb have to be connected

You have to press "-" button in the front of the box and not in remote control.
 
Thanks Shiro, I have already done all of the above exactly as you describe several times.

How do I know that the image installation has begun?
