No Picture

Just upgraded the image and have no picture since the upgrade, i tried 2 different boxes but both the same issue, put back the backup from the original image and all works fine, i tried both ways from the online update and as well from the usb.

Any ideas what is going on?

OK i try to explain better :-)

  • i have 2 Vu+ Solo , 1 original and 1 Clone
  • These works fine with image 2.0.5
  • i was tempted to Upgrade to the new 2.0.9 so i went ahead and tried the upgrade.

  • 1st i test the original Vu+ Solo by making the online upgrade , all went fine and at the end of the upgrade it asked me to reboot the box
  • When i restart the box no picture at all comes on screen neither via Scart Cable or HDMI Cable but the green LED comes on when it starts even when i press a button on the remote the green led flashes , so i presume it is taking the commands
  • So i was thinking that something went wrong with the online upgrade, and i downloaded the new image 2.0.9 and flashed it with USB , all seems that went fine with the upgrade , i mean the flashes of the led during flashing, when was done tried to reboot again, but no picture comes on screen.
  • In the mean time a new image 2.0.9.1 came out and tried that as well but the outcome was the same ( No Picture )

  • So at this point i test the 2nd box as i was thinking something went wrong with the box, but as well the 2nd box had the same situation exactly as the first no picture at all with 2.0.9
  • At this point i re flashed the boxes again with 2.0.5 and voila both boxes where back working fine , i can see the boot logo and the menus to finish the setup.

I Hope it is clear what i tried to do, and what i could not achieve.

BOTH BOXES ARE CLONES.
