No sound in XBMC - BH 2.1.5. Vu+ Duo2

Hello everybody,

I just installed the new 2.1.5. image and realized how good it is. Just one single issue:
XBMC works but I can't hear anything, no sound at all.
Maybe the default config of XBMC must be changed (I didn't modify any value there).

On the VU+Duo2 there is sound in every channel.

Could you help me?

Where you dont´t have sound? Is it cause Mediaplayer? On playing some MKV files from your HDD?

No sound while XBMC runs on BH 2.1.5.
The rest is working fine with sound (Sat, recorded videos, etc.)

Have you iinstalled MEDIAPLAYER2? Or, instead, are you using the default player ( that is on image ).

Have tested playing with Xbmc --> your local hdd files?

What are you playing, that have no sound?

Hello,
I've been trying several add-ons and audio is being played in some of them, o.g. youtube.
But in the addon "pelisalacarta" audio is not working while playing streams from streamcloud, vidspot, allmyvideos, ect.

I am having a sound issues as well when playing any video files/addons from within XBMC. I downloaded the keyboard.xml file from this thread;

vuplus-community.net/board/threads/no-sound-on-xbmc.20958/ (not allowed to upload links yet...)

I am now able to press 0 on my remote and choose E2player but there is a delay between sound and video.

Does anybody else have a resolution on the default player for XBMC that will allow sound? I have used addons and also my videos on my HDD, none play sound. I have installed dreamPlex and that plays videos flawlessly with synced sound.

On my non-VU+ systems XBMC/Kodi are brilliant and plays everything with no sound issues. I used to use Kodi/TVHeadend but decided to go down the VU+ Duo2 route for ease of use for the family.

I have just checked in system settings within xbmc and there is no Audio output device... That must be the root of the problem. Any idea on what to do?

The same happens to me, there no audio output device in the xbmc audio settings. ( A bug?) There is not sound with the pluggin pelisalacarta and the rest is working and hearing properly .

Still having issues with kodi regarding sound have tried media player install but still no sound on live media , movies work fine

I have the same problem , no audio output device --- thinking about looking for an earlier version of kodi . I love this media player app .
