No sound playing .MKV files via Mediaplayer

hello, i have just one mkv, as well i have the same issue with it (using the hdmi audio or the scart connection for the av amplifier)

do you mean press the audio button during the play?
 
in the a/v setup i have:
dolby digital defualt yes
dolby digital downmix yes

during the play , pressing audio:
dolby digital downmix on
channel stereo
and a bar that say: 0 dts audio english running

(i'm really a newbie about the digital audio out, something is wrong?)

Thanks for moving my thread Mito - audioset look right - in the audio menu it looks like the soundtrack is present.

And yes it only aplies to MKV files - tried to play it on my PC with VLC - that worked fine

Tried to play it on HDMI and Scart - no sound on both - will try to get the sound from my optical and se if that works.

I've got a UTF-8 subtitle channel that works

Sometimes it happends also to me, i don't know why, but i have to reboot box to hear audio of my .mkv files.
Did you try to reboot?
