online update error

hi guys upate online says icon flashing on front screen but when i try update get error says there has been an error if persists contact vu community.com any ideas guys

once again if you have OBH 4.1.012 for image update use telnet command

init 4 && opkg update && opkg upgrade && init 6
 
when did you try to update? the server was too busy today with all this updates and upgrades .

I think You can try the same with telnet .

init 4 && opkg update && opkg upgrade && init 6

i install obh4.1 in flash with my solo2..but online update did not work.
then i telenet this command
init 4 && opkg update && opkg upgrade && init 6
but result is the same.
reboot solo2 many times in hope may be server busy but no luck yet.
what is the problem?
 
Where did you manage to find such an old file? I don't think you downloaded it from this site. As it seems you have a Solo2 take the 4.1.018 from the appropriate section.

Use the Google DNS only if you don't manage to perform the update. They can be specified in the network configuration, after you configure the first Internet connection by the wizard (after the first boot).
 
I had the same error but after i reboot i got it to work.
Can i restore an old image save using the restore inside the image? Is it save?
or i must write it to an usb stick and reflash it?
Any other solution?

Hallo guys,

I am stuck with ver. 4.1.026 and cannot update.
I tried all the tricks in this thread but no success.
I have OBH on multiboot on my Solo2 since its release and everything was ok till recently.

Hope someone has a solution.
