Open BH Kodi & OpenVPN

Hi
Would like any information on how Kodi works on the latest Open BH image. The reason i ask:-
I have OpenVPN running perfectly. This has been checked so I know its setup is good.
However running Kodi I have been getting error's when asked to pair to activate some sources. On checking I have found that checking my IP through Kodi shows my local provider IP and not that of my VPN??

Anyone know why this might be?

How have you set up your VPN?
In your router, on your PC, in the VU+ receiver options?
Have you set up the Proxy server options, in System Settings, in Kodi?
I haven't set up a VPN so can't confirm if it does work.
 
I have the openVPN addon running on the VU+ Solo 4K Open BH image. I have not looked at the proxy settings in Kodi.
