I don't have any issue with openmultiboot with Open Blackhole 0.1. From OBH, I had installed 6 images, all works fine (OBH again, vti, opensif, openpli, openvix,bH3)

I just used a 250GB SATA 2,5" disk attached behind my vu0 uno. I had 3 partitions with ext4. I don't used USB, too slow and it will tear out quickly. A 250GB sata cost less than 15 bucks on ebay.

Hi follow the guide to initialize and map your USB pen Drive and to mount it for handling OpenMultiboot.

I never say and afaik no one from stuff that Open Multiboot don´t work in a HDD.

We allways said that it´s not recommend use an HDD due to conitnuos spining when handling images installed in Multiboot.

The Guide is very clear to help you, and you don´t need any other help for having Open Multiboot working on your Vuplus STB, and for this doesn´t matter if you intend to have OBH 0.1 or BH 3.0.1 in flash.

GUIDE --> http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/how-to-use-open-multiboot-on-open-black-hole.23270/

An usb pen driver is enough to have Open Multiboot, and you don´t need to have the noise of your HDD allways in your ears.

what? someone get misinform here. try to google for "journaling ext4 ext3 tear usb"

hdd technology had been on the run at least 60 years and still going strong, myself I will stuck to that cheap, fast and stable technology.

another big advantage are: Use the same hdd for backup your image, record tv, epg and for Mediacenter (sharing mp3, divx to other smartphone, tablets in the house). my vu+ uno delivers 500ma in both the front and back usb plug, enough for a usb 2,5" HARDDISK

I never suffer noisy issue, since the receiver goto sleepmode in the night and my speaker always get louder when the tv is turned on.

Thank you very much for all these informations.
I appreciate your help
