OpenWebIF streaming hangs / bad

A little help .... I just installed BH 177 light on VU + UNO.
A very dear feature for me is to see the TV in a window from the PC.
When I try to see streaming on PC TV via the webif I encounter several problems. The interface works fine, but when I launch the video with mediaplayer the buffer can not even fill (4/5% then hangs) , with VLC player instead the streaming starts but after a few seconds the video hangs, the audio continue to work properly.. Tested on two computers (on which I see happily HD movies )
Any idea? I do not have a hard drive installed .... this is the cause? How can I fix it ?

Probably there is a speed problem in your local network.

Perhaps a firewall ?
Open it in port 8001 (dunno if UDP or TCP - just open both)
