Partitioning 3TB HDD

I have the Blackhole 1.7.2 image on mu Ultimo, although the 3TB WD HDD is only recognised as 800MB, so I'm going to have to partition the HDD too 1+2TB partitions. Is there a PartitionMagic type of plugin available for BH, if not is it possible to partition the drive over the network? or is it a case of having to physically remove the HDD and connecting it to the PC to partition it?

Help much appreciated
