PCTV tripleStick 292e

I too am very interested in this T2 USB tuner since the old 290e (AFAIK the only compatible T2 USB tuner) is now almost impossible to find at a reasonable price.
Moreover the 292e is also a DVB-C tuner and has an updated hardware.

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but I got this working on my enigma2pc install on Ubuntu 12.04.

First I upgraded to kernel 3.17 as described here
Code:
http://www.yourownlinux.com/2014/10/how-to-install-linux-kernel-3-17-stable-in-linux.html
https://github.com/Raider05/enigma2pc
http://blog.palosaari.fi/2014/04/naked-hardware-15-pctv-triplestick-292e.html

After that I installed enigma2pc openpli as described here
Code:
https://github.com/Raider05/enigma2pc

And at last I did the extract of dvb-demod-si2168-01.fw from the included cd as described here
Code:
http://blog.palosaari.fi/2014/04/naked-hardware-15-pctv-triplestick-292e.html

At least this shows that the tripplestick 292e driver work on enigma 2 openpli, but I guess we need
to have kernel 3.17 on our Vu+ for it to work.

As you see, I've fixed ALL LIVE LINKS you have posted.
About your question, we are working on the new (latest) driver set for Vu+ boxes in our spare/free time.

It's supported (DVB-T2 at least) in kernel 3.16 by Antti Palosaari.
In kernel 3.17 it's like this:
Code:
http://www.noodls.com/view/CF55CF6E36620D6B1900BE242BC039267CCFC14A?4142xxx1414538766

Have you found any spare time yet?

Try with latest BH image (2.1.3)

Thanks, but I'm an OpenVix user. It has currently 3.13 kernel. I don't need it that badly (just yet) so I guess I have to wait for some updates.

You should try BH images with LATEST Linux DVB USB drivers .... we don't use kernel builtin drivers :)

You should post the output of dmesg command ....
I ran dmesg before and after plugging the stick (in the front connector for being lazy) and diff'ed them:

Post also "lsusb" output please (with USB device connected)

It's in use in another Linux box, but I guess this tells even more than the very limited "lsusb" in VU:

Bus 002 Device 103: ID 2013:025f PCTV Systems

w_scan tells:
"/dev/dvb/adapter1/frontend0 -> TERRESTRIAL "Silicon Labs Si2168": very good :))"

and lsusb -v:
