Picons and USB sticks

I've read some discussion on Picons and USB Keys, what does this do and how useful is it?

I meant USB Sticks.

Picons are the little pictures that are your channel names etc. They show up In the info box that usually just says black hole on left of info bar. They are best located on USB stick instead of HDD to prevent your hard drive constantly having to read them from there. And you never want to store them in flash especially on the older boxes like duo etc where flash space is minimal.

Have you formatted and mounted the USB via BH format utility?

Once formatted mount it using 2xblue button>devices manager>red button(mount points)

Mount your USB as /media/USB

To get picons
Greenbutton>yellow button>addons download manager> picons packages
