Picons - limit to number of files in folder

I am using the default location of /usr/share/enigma2/piconlcd under the latest Black Hole image and it displays them fine under my MyMetrix/CoolTV setup.

However when I tried to copy picons from several satellites the copy reaches a maximum of 1356 files in the folder and refuses to copy any more (I've tried copying several times).

If I put the picons on my HDD it's fine but despite going through the instructions the picons will not display at this location.

Is there a maximum number of files limit?
 
I think is no limitation [ but im never test this ] maybe is somthing with space where is picon loaded.
