Playing from NAS

I would like to use my Duo2 in Renderer mode to play files from my Synology NAS. So, using one DLNA app in my iphone, I would like to select my NAS as Server and my Duo2 as Renderer. I was never able to configure my box in this way using any BH 2.xx image. Is it 3.01 image OK for this? Thanks.
 
I found one specific plugin called CoCy, but it seems it was developed for different images. Anyone knows if it work on BH, too? If so, what about its quality and features for my goal? Thanks.

Just add you NAS via network mount and set it as the default HDD and away you go, I have all my box's connected to my NAS.
 
Just tried, but it's not good for me. First, I have 1TB hdd in my Duo2, so I can not set my NAS as default hdd. Second, this config does not solve my problem, because the box would become a good player but not renderer to be controlled via DLNA with iOS apps. Any other idea? Thanks.

Why dont you play directly from the NAS to your phone via VLC for example ?
Not DLNA, just samba share.
