hi dear admins and developers
im from Iran and i LOVE Black-hole images
your last ver of image uploaded in 1.4.2017 1/April/2017 today is 11/3/2017
please relase a new version and upload it in site because in over country internet filtered and i use a proxy for write in here too
and we cannot easy update our receivers
thanks to all site managers
 
you can set proxy in file /etc/opkg/opkg.conf (first make backup of this file!)
edit file, fill your proxy setting and remove #
# Proxy Support
#option http_proxy http://proxy.tld:3128
#option ftp_proxy http://proxy.tld:3128
#option proxy_username <username>
#option proxy_password <password>
after that type this:
opkg update && opkg upgrade
 
As the 1.0.039 hasn't offered minor updates for about 5-6 days now, this is usually the sign that a major full release is about to arrive. Maybe, we'll have soon OBH 1.1!... ;)

Well, it's actually a reality. Looks like version 1.1 is out since at least 10 days and apparently even received updates!

It's just a bit sad to find about this in other forums, while people are literally 'begging' here for a tiny bit of information.
 
No update, yet, for Solo4K. Was it an online update or did you download somewhere else? Because there is also another image called Openblackhole that it's not from this group of developers.
If it was an online update, why are you complaining about news? No online update has ever been announced! Only the new releases or subreleases with a new installation file.
 
It's not mine, it was someone else's post. Probably someone with the privilege to access test releases.
Why would I complain if it was available online? :p
 
OK, it wasn't clear from your message. It seemed to me you had updated it. Anyway, it's not important to update it as soon as possible: I prefer a stable image than a new release with new features but also some issues.
 
What do you mean as "usb installing"? A multiboot install into a USB device? A file to flash by a USB flash drive?
The first is always possible. All the current BH and OBH images can be installed either in flash or in multiboot.
The second... well, they are always installed from a USB device.
