Plugin "Return the Love Event" doesn't work in genuine SoloSE

I have recently bought a genuine SoloSE but Plugin "Return the Love Event" doesn't work. It asks to fill the 2 fields with parts of the SN. In the first field it requires 2-3 first letters of the SN. My box has only one letter at the beginning so it is not recognized as genuine. Should we expect an update of this plugin for the new SoloSE boxes with the new serial numbers ?.
