Hi Everyone, is there a plugin that could help to mount Stb’s harddisk of OpenPLi image to OpenBlackhole?

Sorry, it's not clear what you want to do. Do you want to physically connect a HDD previously used by another image in the same STB? Or do you want to use it as a remote HDD from another box?
In the first case you don't need any plugin, just connect it and mount by the appropriate function. HDDs have nothing related to the image you are running: they just have recording files and other that it's not vital for the image in flash to run.
 
Hi Alexwilmac, thanks for the quick reply and very sorry for not being clear enough.

I want to network mount an hdd inside dreambox with OpenPli image to my Vu+ with Obh image. I failed to mount previously by using the network mount feature in Obh.

But I need this feature to work because sometime the recording in Vu+ was not recorded properly and so I need to watch the recording from dreambox by network mounting. Is there any plugin that can help in this network mounting?

As far as I know there's no need of additional plugins, as it is a natural function. And OBH, in my experience (only with a NAS, not other STBs) is much comfortable in mounting. What OBH version do you have?
Now, the problem is: does VU+ at least find the network drive or not? Because, if it doesn't find, the issue is in the DM not in OBH, I think and you must learn how to share you DM's HDD.
Instead, if OBH finds it but doesn't mount, you should try different protocols, enabling them under DM.
For my NAS, under OBH, I've always used CIFS with mount at boot.
 
Thanks Alexwilmac, Vu+ did find Dm but it couldn’t mount. I also owns a xTrend with Hdf image and it got no problem mounting my Dm.

Does anyone has any other recommendation or a plugin that could do the mounting? Thanks & Best Regards
 
Hi Everyone, just had another try on mounting my dreambox with PLi image, and it’s successful. I can see all my files and able to play any movie files too.
