Hello,

Trying to modify Elegance skin to remove the analog clock but each time I modify the infobar.png, enigma gui is not happy (reboot loop). Have used macos file preview utility (with or without alpha transparency) without success, it's true that just saving it without modification increase file size, same with photoshop element.

Is there a simple compatible png editor, preferably free and under mac OS ?

Photoshop indicated 8bit (ie 256) indexed color (with alpha transparency) so I decided to give it a go, the strange thing is that the file size, once reimported on the box was back to 20 Kb (70 Kb once modified on my computer). Works now, no more analog clock (nothing personal against the hard work of the developer, just my own taste) !
 
There is a software called PngOptimizer under GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE that can help you to reduce size of your PNG, always do backups before.
