Poor HD football image quality

I'm watching today's Uefa Champions League semifinal Leipzig-PSG and I am wondering if I am the only one who notices the poor image. I tried several HD channels transmitting the same match and the lines on the pitch are clearly visibly cut in pieces. Most notably in horizontal lines.

It is as if an interlaced signal wasn't properly deinterlaced, if you know what I mean. Hopefully the image attached explains it:

I noticed this during most of these matches recently, but not yesterday's between Inter and Shakhtar.

Could it have something to do with the fact that they broadcast this match in UHD as well?

Is there a setting to remedy this?

A different match, same problem:

Look at the (penalty area) side line. It is chopped into pieces. I attach a picture detail:

With the video playing the chopping starts changing size and place as if it's caused by aliasing and you end up with a terrible headache.

I wonder if I am the only one who watches football:unsure:

The images I attached are from Movistar Liga de Campeones. Normally there is no problem. Only when they broadcast top matches like some Champions / Europe League (semi-)finals. Inter - Shakhtar was fine as far as the image quality was concerned;).

More interestingly, different channels broadcasting the same matches had the same problem. I'm sure if you tune any channel that broadcasts tomorrow's final, you will see it with your own eyes.

Here is a list of channels that televise Sevilla v Inter Milan tomorrow, Aug 21 st, at 21:00 CEST:
Code:
https://liveonsat.com/2day.php?start_dd=21&start_mm=08&start_yyyy=2020&end_dd=21&end_mm=08&end_yyyy=2020

Assuming you are Italian because your Italian is very good, maybe you can try to tune Sky Sport Football Italia HD or Sky Sport Uno Italia HD.

Please try and watch Sevilla v Inter Milan tomorrow or any repetition of Leipzig v PSG or Lyon v Bayern in High Definition.

Thanks!

If I remember tonight, I'll check, but not by sky. If the problem is an overall one, there are many channels, beginning from Swiss ones.
But I watched a few minutes days ago of some matches, and all was perfect, I believe.
Usually, I'm attentive to these details. We'll see.

No chopped side lines during Sevilla v Inter Milan:confused:.
At least not on the channels I can watch:huh:.

To use the words of The Giant in Twin Peaks: it is happening again:

Pay special attention to the penalty area and the side line:

Completely chopped! I checked on three different channels. No difference.

Not as bad as the semi finals, but annoying enough, isn't it?

I watched just a few minutes by Canale5 HD and it was perfect. But, just a few minutes.
And, above all, I think it's unlikely it's a overall problem: can you believe such a thing?
So, there must've been something in your image. Maybe you played around with some advanced A/V settings either in your box or in the TV.
No one else has reported this problem here.

Maybe you can check a recording to find out if it has to do with the settings:
Code:

It may take some time to download. It's hosted on a prehistoric server.
The match is Leipzig v PSG, the one I started this thread with. Look at the (penalty area) side lines on the far end of the pitch. Especially 10 secs into the recording.

If you play it on your Vu+ without annoying choppy lines, I throw away mine and rest my case.

Dear fta, make a check on Alex advise!!!

So, if everything is standard and no one else reported problems, it must've been something on your side. My quality, for instance was perfect in every channels, as I said days ago.
