Prep before a new flash

Hello guys.

I was wondering how you best prep before a flash update.
When doing a flash in sted of a online update, all personal settings, channel lists etc. are lost.
What is the best or easy way to not loose everything in a new flash.

I guess the settings, channel lists, favorits etc are all stored in some files.
Is it a simple copy paste opperation, or what should one be aware of?

Use dreamboxedit, or dreamset, to back up your channels, and bouquets.
It's always wise to do this, even when not flashing your receiver, just in case the receiver crashes, or an update, plugin, messes up your receiver.
