problem reading channel list

Hi. Just upgraded from b/hole 2.1.1 to b/hole 2.1.5 and have problem reading channel list due to light background as my eyes are not to good. Is there anyway i can change this or should i revert back to 2.1.1 as i had no problem with that version. Am i doing something wrong .I am using hannibal latest settings.
 
I have never used a different skin than default as i was under the impression they just provided a picture background . Sorry for my ignorance. I will certainly try a new skin. Cheers for pointing me in the right direction.
