Problem with a certain frequency on Solo2

I was flipping through channels on Sky UK and I noticed that channels on the 12382 H transponder would have a fluctuation of 10% on the SNR bar. At first I thought it was either a problem with the LNB or the cable. So I went on the roof and changed the LNB but the issue persisted. I also have a regular Solo receiver and a card on my PC, so I tried the cables feeding them, and yet again no change. It happens on both tuners of the Solo2. When I tried reproducing the problem on the Solo or the PC card, when I'd flip back to the channels of the transponder-in-question, I'd get the same high SNR every single time, no fluctuation. I even interchanged all 4 cables on every receiver and the Solo and the PC card would always give me the high SNR, no matter how many times I flipped back to a channel on that frequency. So I'm thinking: I eliminated the possibility of a faulty LNB or problematic cabling. My next thought was to try reverting to an older Blackhole (I was on 2.0.4 when I noticed the problem, so I tried going back to 2.0.3), but the issue persisted on both tuners. Most flip backs come in strong, but a couple of them come in with 10-11% decreased SNR. I even tried a couple of different iterations of the drivers, rebooted, and once more same issue. What puzzles me is that I haven't noticed it on any other channels/transponders, so if the tuners were to blame, would they only be glitchy on that particular frequency? Then again, I can't for the life of me reproduce the issue on the Solo or my PC, no matter how many times I've flipped back to a channel on that transponder, and with all 4 feed-in cables tried out, so ?!?!?!? Should I RMA the box or is there something else I'm missing?

This situation causes in your TV some viewing problems ?

If you do a search for the thread "tuner lock issue" this might answer your question.

Thanks valb, got some valuable tips from that post.
angelofsky1980: I am in SE Europe so that transponder to begin with is difficult. On a good day SNR is 70% at night it drops down to 58%, so with the 10-11% fluctuation it goes down to 48%. On one occasion it couldn't read PAT and missed a recording, so I can only imagine what would happen on a rainy night. But I'ma go ahead and try the 2-step-higher frequency trick to see if it helps

Good to hear it worked.
Remember that the UK epg is on a high frequency too.
When I first got my Solo2 I just couldn't understand why the epg download sometimes worked and other times didn't. Read the instructions and checked the setup again and again and then realised that good weather meant no signal until I stepped up the frequency.
