Problem with Media Player

I have problems with files in MKV format.
The image is stretched even I choose letterbox in video setting. My box is a Sollo2 with the latest Black Hole. What is the problem?

I solved the same problem (I think) setting A/V configuration to show 4:3 as PillarBox and then enabling Autoresolution to map 1080/24p to 1080/24p to have the correct framerate handled by my Panasonic TV.

Unfortunately, it does not work. I think this is a general vu+ issue, they don't handle non-standard aspect ratios very well.
