Problem with telnet connection

Have been trying to connect to vu+solo via telnet but I can't. I get the following:
openpli 3.0 android
android login:
password:
I enter <root> for login and leave pswd blanc. I get <Login incorrect>

To get the ip address I go: setup>system>network>adapter settings and I see the following:

IP address:
Netmask:
Gateway:
Primary DNS:
Secondary:

The first one is the one to use right?

Any ideas anyone? Is there another way connecting to box? Thank you

PS: With last BH 2.0.6 Rev. C I don't have any Telnet connection problem.

Is the password for telnet not password instead of blank? Telnet is easy if your telnet into your box using the same internet, all you need then is the ip but if doing it from outside you need to setup a DNS and also enable port forwarding on your router to forward to your boxes IP address
