Problem with USB recording

Hi to all,

I am totally new with digsat, however I am following many instructions given from you guys here and all (but one) is work ok for me. My problem is:
I did everything like on this post http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/how-to-setup-your-vu-for-recording-on-usb.5491/ , the recording starts file and then it fails. Message says that my disk is full even tho it is not. The part of the movie that it recorded is fine, full HD and it works great playing it (but that is only part of the movie)

I noticed that it always stops recording when the file grows to 4GB ... is it problem because my USB is fat32?
Can I maybe record HD channels in compresed file, so the movie doesn't exceeds 4GB?

I think that this is exactly FAT32 problem .

Thx a lot for you time ... so, what to do ... should I format it with Vu+ or is there anyway for recording it into some compressed file

No comressing .You can try to format with VU

Try to change your usb stick or (best option) use an hdd for recordings.
