Hello everybody,
I was installing my brand new VU+ Solo2 receiver and it was working perfect for some hours on Hotbird channels. When I tried to change it to Astra 19 I could not tune it well so so I started playing with antenna settings (simples/advenced/Diseq etcl. My receiver suddenly restarted and got stuck on staring gui showing all the time a white-blue circle like trying to find servgice or internet connection and it was remainig there.
I was afraid that it was broken but googling out I found the info that in can be an antenna settings problem. Later on I have found this telnet command init 4 && rm -rf /etc/enigma2/lamedb && rm -rf /etc/enigma2/*.tv && rm -rf /etc/enigma2/*.radio && init 3 my receiver has restarted like a virgin receiver, I have configured all the settings from the beginning and it was working well.
But I had problem when loading settings from feeds so I used Deamset to find my satellites and I have loaded it to the receiver. When rebooting it got stuck one more time, displaying only the starting gui and this white-blue circle.
But this time this command: init 4 && rm -rf /etc/enigma2/lamedb && rm -rf /etc/enigma2/*.tv && rm -rf /etc/enigma2/*.radio && init 3 did not solve anything.
I have tried to restore full /etc/enigma2 folder content which I previously stored on the HD. Nothing. I have tried emptying fulll profile and settings files hoping that the receiver will start like first time run configuring everything from the beginning. Nothing.
What I have to do now? Maybe I have to clear some cache files or something...
I know that the receiver is not broken, so I will be able to make it work with your help.
Please let me know your opinions.
Or, maybe, is there any telnet command to restore receivers' previous stage or any command to restore factory default settings?
Thanks you in advance for your help.
