Question on default value for a parameter

Hi,
When I create a timer to record a broadcast, the last parameter on the screen ("what to do after"), which default value is "auto", can also take the value of "sleep" or "deep sleep" or "do nothing".

Is there a way to change the default value to something else than "auto" ?

I would like that by default the value is "deep stand-by", which makes perfect sense for my usage of the VU+
