In this thread there is the IPK for all Vu+ boxes that contains Realtek rtl8188eu chipset.

Installation instructions:
PREREQUISITE for Solo2, SoloSE, Zero and Duo2 users:
via telnet/SSH connection you must launch this command:
Code:
opkg remove kernel-module-r8188eu --force-depends

After that, continue with the following steps:
a) put the IPK into a USB pendrive and connect it to your box. You will have the possibility to install IPK directly.
b) put the IPK into /tmp folder of your box and use the "Manual install IPK package" from BH Green Panel -> Yellow Button.

Supported devices will be avaiable on the second post of this thread.

Drivers will be avaiable on the third post of this thread after compilation for all supported boxes.

Driver for chipset rtl8188eu have been included into all BH images and works properly.
I've bought in the past a WN725 v2.1 for testing purposes only and work properly.

Thanks @angelofsky1980 , yes is working fine on BH images, and with OpenBH?

The only problem is that i cant add the real mac address + fixed IP to the router from that wifi pen WN725 v2.1

see the images if i really can explain to you

5555.jpg

sddd.jpg

so i cant add a real fixed IP do my zero and router, if i made any changes @ vuzero, always stay online/ative on my wifi network because the mac address is not the same.

Why?

Im using now Black Hole 3.0.2.F and 2.1.6 before

Hi to everybody, yesterday i've installed BH 3.0.3-vuzero...I bought a inexpensive wifi usb dongle TL-WN725N_V2.2 ...Driver for chipset rtl8188eu have been included into all BH images but doesn't works properly...wifi works but with a really slow connection even if distance is 2 meter to the router. This is too slow to watch Videos, while with ethernet it goes very fast and with good quality.

So, I run:
opkg remove kernel-module-r8188eu --force-depends
it sais that there aren't any package to remove.

And after i run:
opkg install rtl8188eu_git-r2-bh3_vuzero.ipk (ipk that you provided) and it sais:

opkg_install_pkg: Package rtl8188eu md5sum mismatch. Either the opkg or the package index are corrupt. Try 'opkg update'.
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package rtl8188eu.

What can I do? I've to buy another wifi dongle?
What do you suggest?

Thanks a lot.

Ti sbagli:

_install_pkg: Package rtl8188eu md5sum mismatch. Either the opkg or the package index are corrupt. Try 'opkg update'.
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package rtl8188eu

PS: l'adattatore wireless è un v.3
