Vu+ Newbie
Q- Is there any known canals that you cannot record from?
I Got a Vu+ Solo and i am recording on a Synology DiskStaion ower a Lan network.
All is good and its no problem to record But.
I can not record from History channel HD Europe.
The other HD channels are no problem.
I can locate the file but its not possible to play back like the other files.
Some times i can hear just a fraction of a word or a sound then quiet.

So are there channels that you cannot record.???

The problem is not into the STB.
If you can tune correctly a DVB service, you can record it.

So how come i can record all other channels,
But fail on this one.
I also doubt there is a problem in the receiver, and have issues believing just one channel should fall out.

Could be also a problem of your LAN / NAS speed.

Well it is aHD channel but so is Discovery HD to.
And its no problem recording that,
It seems some thing is interrupting the recording.
The files from History channel is just about 370 Kb for one minute of recording. (but can not read)
And from National geographic channel 95 Mb for one minute.
I have no ide whats is going on.

I suppose you have a CI CAM for your Subscription.
In this case there can be some limitations inside CI CAM and I suggest to look in their dedicated menu to try to solve this.
In other cases: Read board Rules as paolino posts before.

Again: if you can tune a DVB service you should usual record it. If not, check your CI hardware and settings.

Aa it did not even cross my mind , have to look in to the module.

After consultation with my provider it is clear it is a bitrate issue.
