Recording codec and bitrate for Vu + DUO 4K SE

Hi, if any of you own my own Vu + DUO 4K SE decoder with Open BlackHole 4.4 image
i noticed it record in .TS codec, my question is it possible to change codec like .mp4 etc. and maybe change the bitrate for the video quality.
Do you also know supports SSD?

1) Obviously not: all the PVR, and surely al the enigma ones use .ts
2) Obviously yes: SSD is nothing logically different from a HDD.
