Remote control problem Ultimo

When I use the remote on the Ultimo it is verry verry verry slowly!
I tried another remote from the Uno and it's the same problem on the Ultimo.
I can't work any more with the Ultimo. It's not possible to zap.

The remote from the Ultimo works great on the Uno.
Is there a hardware problem?
Can I fix it myself?
