Remote control TV code not working

Hi everyone. I had to replace my TV recently and have been trying to reprogram the VU+ remote control so I can turn the new TV on and off. I entered the new TV's code as per the instructions in the manual, but the TV is not responding. Could the TV manufacturer have changed the code for its latest TV? Is there another code I can use? Cheers.
 
Have you try to use 0000 for "Full automatic scan"? Note, that it could take VERY long time - for my LG TVs it's about 15-17 minutes of just sitting and pushing down mute button (LG code 1628 also don't works for me).
