Replacing satellites.xml on Solo2 with BH 2.1.7

Hi, I'm a newbie on this forum but I've had a Solo 2 for a couple of years. Recently I flashed my box with new image BH 2.1.7. Previous image was 2.0.9. Everything seems to work fine, but I'm not able to update the tuner with a new satellites.xml file (downloaded from http://satellites-xml.org/). Seems like the services are "stucked" in a settings file (lamedb or settings ?). With 2.0.9 I had no problem downloading files from tuner (Dreamboxedit 3.0.0.0), replacing the xml file and perform a new upload.

Any suggestions ?

It can be found in etc/tuxbox, just delete it and replace with your new one.
Always worth making a backup of your old one first though.

Thanks, I've tried this... But tuner doesn't seem to "read" the New file

Have you rebooted the box once you have made the change ?

Check /etc/enigma2 for a satellites.xml file. Enigma2 will ignore the satellites.xml in etc/tuxbox if there is a satellites.xml file located in /etc/enigma2.

Hi, tried reboot (also with on/off button) as well as putting xml file into etc/enigma2. No change... However, i performed a new service search, and all channels were replaced & editable with new download to dreamboxedit. Hence, my conclusion is that the xml file seems unusable in BH 2.1.7...

You can also upload satellites.xml with dreamboxedit , replace orginal in settings/Satlist
