Im advised to replace the installed ViX image on my solo2 with the latest Blackhole image, can I just overwrite or do I have to do anything first? Do I need to flash another image or drivers before installing blackhole?
Thanks. I have got the image on, ran a channel scan and uploaded a channel list but no channels are on, just an error 'check tuner configuration. I have 2 feeds coming from a quad lnb (2 into living room Sky HD box, and 2 to bedroom Sky + box, original sky dish), living room HD box is fine so I know lnb is ok and aligned. I have selected config mode simple, mode single, Satellite 28.2 East and Send diseqc No. Same settings fro tuner A and B. No channels clearing. Do I need to install drivers or anything?
I know I can only watch FTA channels but thats what Im saying, they are not clearing. Im expecting at the very least to get BBC Scotland open, but the screen is black. Have I forgot to install anything like a driver etc? A lot of channels were saying check tuner configuration. BBC Wales would open but not BBC Scotland for example.Read Board Rules.

Hi
Ok I have noticed something. It was suggested to me to replace the satellite.xml file, which I did, then did another automatic scan. Nearly every channel I viewed (freesat) opened. Getting somewhere at last. Then I reinstalled Catseye EPG and all the channels are gone again. Its obviously overwriting something that it shouldnt. Is it because thats a EPG for a motorised setup rather than just 28E Sky UK?
I have FTP'd the satellite .xml over again and I am now doing another scan. Im finding this very different to my Technomate 9100. So what EPG do you recommend and can these be installed via addons? Thank you for your patience and assistance, much appreciated.
