Can anyone help here. I have official te**nor card and a few conax cams. Whe I insert any of these cams into ultimo [slot 1 or 2] menu/setup/common interface shows BH Common Interface panel with
Slot1
Reset
Init
no module found
Multiple service support No
High Bitrate support No

and
menu/setup/common interface assignment shows BH CI Assignment panel
Slot 1 - no module found
Slot 2 - no module found

If I go to BH Blue Panel it shows
Common Interface OK
1 CAMs Installed <set default cam.
Active Common Interface

Name: current channel I am on
Provider:

Any advice would be great, thanks. Next time I will put up screenshots!

I have also just found that although black aston rev 1.05 cam is detected, inserting an official canal di*it**l card in doesnt result in clear channel [e.g. NeD2 HD no picture/sound, but strangely SB*6 HDno picture, sound ok].

Post some details about your Conax CI CAMs... like brand, hw revision, fw revision and other reported on sticker on CAM.
Thanks

Thanks for reply. This is latest the situation regarding conax [& aston v1.05] cams in my ultimo....

1. Telenor conax cam [year '93 - 780-001-06 2.1]
telenor.png

Inserting this cam into slot1 [or slot2] shows in menu/setup/common interface & menu/setup/common interface assignment as below

SBS6 HD-11102012-1020.jpg
SBS6 HD-11102012-105.jpg

2. Conax cam 4.00e [SCM Microsystems (P/N 904180 R1.0)]
conax.jpg
Inserting this cam into slot1 [or slot2] shows in menu/setup/common interface & menu/setup/common interface assignment as below

NRK1 HD-11102012-1029.jpg

NRK1 HD-11102012-1058.jpg

Inserting my telenor card clears my sub channels [picture&sound] but I am unable read the cards details [i.e. consultation, parameters & information]. The message 'wait for ci...' is all that happens.

3. Aston v1.05 cam 901274
aston.png

Inserting this cam into slot1 [or slot2] shows in menu/setup/common interface & menu/setup/common interface assignment as below

NED2 HD-11102012-914.jpg

NRK1 HD-11102012-1239.jpg

If can then read C*n*l D*g*t**l card aok - i.e. consultation, parameters & informatiom details

NRK1 HD-11102012-126.jpg

but for example I cannot clear channel N*D2 HD picture or sound whilst S*S6 HD clears sound but no picture [I dont think S*BS6 sound is unencrypted as I dont clear it on other receivers].

So the ultimo...
a. recognises Conax cam 4.00e and clears my sub channels aok but I cannot read the card
b. does not recognise telenor cam
c. recognises Aston v1.05 cam, allows reading the card details but doesnt clear sub channels [picture and sound] although it does clear sound on at least one of them

Hope this is of use, would be nice to get Aston working especially. Am a bit concerned if there is info re cams which would be better off not seen so I would be very comfortable to remove it.

Thanks

Can anyone help here. I have official canal digital card (sat). When I insert this cam into ultimo [slot 1 or 2]

menu/setup/common interface shows BH Common Interface panel with
Slot1 (no further info below!)

and
menu/setup/common interface assignment shows BH CI Assignment panel
Slot 1 - no module found
Slot 2 - no module found

If I go to BH Blue Panel it shows
Common Interface OK
1 CAMs Installed <set default cam.
Active Common Interface
The card is working fine in another STB. Problem started after I upgaded to BH image 2.0.0 (I have installed the last image (released yesterday) without any changes.
Is it possible that some kind of driver/script has been lost during the update? if so, where can I get hold of the missing files and which ones do I need?

I do have some problems with the VFD, too. Read in another thread that this can be fixed by using
skin_user.html from the old image. Where can I get hold of this file?

What kind of CAM CI do you have? Post some details please.

I most definitively hope not! I am just using it as bought. The card is original from Canal Digital, so there should be nothing illegal or "grey" going on here.

Your card is not illegal
but the use of emulators is illegal in some countries
maybe not in your
and we do not want to have any discussion
on the use of the emulators on this forum.

It is clearly written in the rules of this forum.
So any discussion on this subject is not allowed
with legal or illegal card e.t.c.

End of discussion. Closed Thread

p.s

If you have problems with the modules, it is best to contact VU +
because we do not make drivers and software for them.
