Hello,

is possible to have this deveice working and included in the next release of black hole. This device seems to have more sensivity than E4000-tuner and also can be used as websdr (will be BH the first websdr receiver? ;-))

I'm trying to compile by myself, but maybe other people own this device.

TY

Your DVB USB device with the RTL2832+R280T tuners will be supported soon when LinuxTV team implements them.
I've read in their Mailing List that someone works on the tuner driver .... when this combination will be supported we will report here the status

Thanks for info but I've already said (and writed) that LinuxTV team is working to support the combination of Realtek RTL2832 and R280T tuner.
On BH we are already working to implement these new devices.

But in other receiver (Xtrend ET9000) works very fine.

The only diference is the kernel 3.6.0 vs 3.1.1, is not posible to adapt the patch for VU+?

I understand it's not clear what choice we have made into BH Team.
We have choosed to use LATEST drivers for DVB USB devices. More updated than other kernels or teams.
Actually into BH 2.x images there are drivers for DVB USB devices made for kernel 3.8.
This mean that latest development will be included into BH images when are avaiable and when we have made sufficient tests with device in our hands.
We monitor constantly the official (OFFICIAL) mailing list from LinuxTV about Patches, fixes and so on.

I know how that device works in another box brand: some teams have included these Patches in their kernel. Every team make their decisions.
Please STOP this kind of discussion / comparison with other box brands: they are OFF TOPIC and we are not interested about them.

Hello again angelofsky1980, I installed this usb-tdt and if it is recognized, but not working properly, go all pixelated channels. Is there any solution?. Thank you very much for everything. A greeting

Can you try to connect your USB DVB device to an external powered USB hub?
Can be useful also a "dmesg" output when you reboot your box
