Samsung IR Blaster with Vu+ Duo

Hello people,

I have a Samsung F5500 which has an IR Blaster which can operate a set top box as the remote would do, although I cant find Vu+ in the list, does anybody know an alternative that would work with the same remote code for the Vu+ Duo?

Any help would be great.

Just an update for others that may want to do the same:

In the remote setup on the tv, select set top box, don't select any manufacturers as Vu+ are not there, go to the search box and type 'mar' and search, select marusys (Vu+ parent company) and bingo! full control of the Duo with the Samsung remote, epg, coloured buttons, power etc..

I thought it was, but it works when you select marusys!

I was just feeding back if someone else is looking to do the same.

Thanks for this tip. I have set up my Vu Duo with my samsung TV like this now. However the exit or back buttons don't seem to pass through.

So for example if I launch the EPG I can only close it by pressing OK on a channel and I can't cancel to leave.

Did this work for you, or do you have any suggestions to fix it?
