Satfinder SNR fluctating but no cables connected

Hi,

I just acquired my first sattelite reciever and sattelite equipment (Vu+ Solo2, dish, lnbs, etc..).

I've been trying to get a lock on Thor 0.8W the whole day without any luck.

The SNR value in Satfinder has been fluctating between 0-40 and 0-90 (depending on symbolrate, frequency and FEC).

At last i tried to remove the cables from the LNB1 and LNB2 slots, and the SNR values were still fluctating in Satfinder. Is this normal? Shouldnt the value be 0 when the coax cable is removed?
