I see that the satellites.xml has changed in the 2.0.x version of BH, putting Thor on 0.9W instead of 0.8W.. Can I use an old satelittes.xml file (from BH 1.7.x) or is there an easy way to convert all my existing files from using 0.8W to 0.9W?

By using
satellites.xml generator.
U can make your own file!

Satellites-xml.eu is indeed a invaluable resource but i prefer to streamline my satellites.xml files by removing the countless and often pointless feeds transponders.

You can generate a new satellites.xml file in the same way from http://satellites-xml.org/ that only contains actual active transponders, this not only reduces the size of the overall file but can drastically reduce scan times as the box would normally make a lengthy pause over dead or inactive transponders while trying to get a lock, with those transponders removed this is no longer the case.
